Here are some great reasons to exercise shared by my friend Christian Price who is currently in chiropractic school. He “lives” what he teaches and is an awesome body builder and rugby player! You can check out he and his wife Kerri’s wellness blog at:
1. Increases weight loss by 1000 percent!

2. Can actually change your DNA: If you are blaming your genetics for being overweight, research shows that you have to power and can change this. (Look at the TV Show Biggest Loser) It can be done!

3. Builds and tones muscle.

4. Turbo charge your metabolism so that it can burn calories all day long!

5. Boost your immune system so that you can fight disease.

6. Improve every aspect of your health: Lower risks of heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.

7. Boost your energy by 300%.

8. Increases your stamina and ability to function.

9. Decrease stress levels and helps you manage it, lower cortisol levels, releases endorphins.

10. Improves brain function: increase your memory, attention span, and your learning ability.

11. Helps you sleep better, relax, and improves your mood.

12. Reverse the aging process.

14. Prevent osteoporosis. Your bones are meant to be jarred so therefore when you work out and weight train they get stronger.

  2. I enjoyed reading the 15 points outlined by Christian and he touched on just about every valuable reason why we need to incorporate exercise in our daily routine. During the colder months I fell behind and am working on motivating myself to get back into incorporating exercise in daily activities.

    First off I would like to say wonderful blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing. I’ve had trouble clearing my mind in getting my ideas out. I truly do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Appreciate it!

      I keep a list of ideas that come to my mind. I just save it until I’m ready to work on them. If there is an idea that feels I’m ready to start on, sometimes I just start and the words come. Other times, I have to read other articles from online or magazines or pick up a book and get ideas so my mind starts flowing. Some of my posts are quick, others take an hour or more to work on. I believe more in quality than quantity. I also borrow articles occasionally from friends or acquaintances with their permission and a link to their website. That works great if their content fits my categories. Also, try to be in a quiet place with no distractions. Don’t forget to sign up for my free energy healing video to reduce stress. That helps clear my mind as well.

      I do have a facebook page. Just click on the facebook button at the top of my web page ( or go to Whole Energy Healing – My Heartfelt Healing on the facebook search.
