Please contribute to this important fundraiser for Jeannie Saunders Smedley NOW as she is in critical need to begin treatment to help with kidney failure NOW.

UPDATE:

Jeannie was unable to raise the money to go to Germany for Hyperthermia and stem cell treatments.  Because of that her health has deteriorated and because of the severity of her damaged cells her kidney’s started to shut down and she recently has been diagnosed with acute kidney failure. Jeannie does not have medical insurance to cover treatments from a kidney specialist. Her body is no longer strong enough to tolerate the Hyperthermia treatments but it is imperative she be placed on a kidney transplant list and have funds available to make this possible.  Please help donate to her cause to help get the medical treatment she needs to prevent kidney failure or have a transplant.

Jeannie has suffered from chronic Lyme Disease for 25 years.  Over time her condition has become more severe and has recently become life threatening.  Jeannie, (and one of her daughters) is in need of going to Germany, and the advanced Health Clinic in Farmington, Utah, for aggressive treatments to help kill the Lyme Bacteria in their bodies.  Jeannie’s hope is to start the recovery process of healing so she can enjoy being the mother she desires to her children.  It is the desire of Jeannie’s other two daughters to also travel to Germany to assist in giving humanitarian service to others at the clinic while Jeannie and her daughter are receiving treatments.  Jeannie has not been able to work because of her health and is in immediate need for assistance to get these treatments.  Jeannie’s passion is her children, music, and poetry, and wants to start sharing these gifts with others when she recovers.  Her greatest desire is to get well so she can be here for her family, then help others who are suffering in similar ways.  She has been sick and in constant tremendous pain for years and suffered from a multitude of symptoms that have been very debilitating and taken from her the quality of life she desires.

Jeannie has recently dropped down to 87 pounds. The Lyme disease has caused her to be allergic to several nutrients, including Amino Acids which help build muscle and fat, causing extreme weight loss, several food allergies, severe RA (rheumatoid arthritis), FMS (fibromyalgia), constant chronic pain in muscles and joints, damage to central nervous system,  organs and tissues, heart problems, migraines, fevers, fatigue, depression, anxiety , insomnia, concentration/memory problems, and seizures. She is ready to make changes necessary for healing.

Jeannie recently had a dark field blood test performed which showed that her body is over ridden with white blood cells trying to fight off a major infection in her body.  This test also showed that her red blood cells are deformed, they are completely water and nutrient deficient and her body is in complete survival mode and needs immediate attention.  Because of the state her cells are in she is not able to absorb water or necessary nutrients for survival and will continue to lose weight unless she gets vital immediate care.

These are some of the pictures from the dark filled blood test showing blood cell abnormalities.

After speaking with others who have received treatments from these clinics and have seen great improvements, it is believed that the treatments offered at the St. George Clinic in Germany and in Farmington will be greatly beneficial and give her the help and healing she is in need of.

She is so grateful to all of her friends, family, and loved ones who have stepped in to help to assist her to reach her goal.  She would be very grateful and appreciative of all support.

Words from Jeannie:

I was told last year that I was on the verge of dying and my body was shutting down.  That I would need immediate intervention or I may not survive. I have suffered with Lyme Disease for 25 years.  A year ago I had lost all hope and desire to live. I need to live for my kids. After 25 years of suffering and trying to find answers  I finally have hope that these treatments that I have just learned about can help, and that I can look forward to a brighter future.

(Jeannie recently wrote this letter to her missionary son, Daniel, after finding out people were going to help her with fund.)

There is a reason to live.  I have learned that I am a daughter of God and I deserve that love.  I have to get well because I am an essential part of His plan, and in bringing souls to him who also need to feel His love, and by doing so we can all help build His kingdom here on earth, because we know who we are, and we know who He is, and we finally know our part.”

Mom I don’t even know what to say! I’ve never read more heartfelt words. I am amazed at the miracles that have happened since I have left. You always hear that your family is blessed Jeannie missionary sonwhile serving a mission but I am absolutely amazed at how Loving our God is. If anything has boosted my testimony it was that email you just sent me! Ever since I came out I have had the impression that you were not doing so good and I have always had the fear that you might not be there when I come home. I have also felt that everything will be ok and that it is all in the Lord’s hands. I know that no matter what God’s plan will be fulfilled but knowing that you have a bright road ahead of you just makes my heart burst. Your testimony has always been something powerful to me but I have never realized the depth of it all. To me you are the strongest spirit there is to have to have dealt with what you have been given. Your example is the greatest thing you have ever given me. I wish I could just hug you aaaaah mom! I love you!!

My mother may be weak, but she is incredible. I have watched her suffer with intense pain, seizures, blacking out, throwing up, not getting any sleep, not being able to use her hands, slowly lose the ability to walk, and losing pound after pound when she doesn’t have anything left to lose. I have waited for phone calls to know she was okay. I left for my mission knowing that I might not see her again. I have hung up the phone after talking to her, wondering if that would be the last conversation we would have. She continually strives to bring purpose to her life, even though she can’t do a lot. She shares what she does have and uses her talents to help people in creative ways, but I can only imagine the good she could do if she could get better. Nothing seems to be helping. But if these treatments work, then let’s raise the funds to get her better!

Letter from Julie Bateman, Jeannie’s friendJulie

I first met Jeannie a few months ago. My initial thought was that she was suffering from anorexia. Jeannie shared that she suffers from Lyme disease, RA, Fibromyalgia and several other serious ailments. Her body, due to the Lyme disease is unable to absorb nutrients from the food she eats causing her to look anorexic. I have witnessed first-hand the serious toll these diseases have had on her general health. Many days are spent on the couch or in bed due to pain and/or lack of energy.  Jeannie has recently gone through a long drawn out bitter divorce which has also taken its toll physically and emotionally. Due to her illnesses her health is such that she cannot work outside the home.  The limited child support and alimony money she receives is her only income. In addition she and her daughter became homeless when, as part of the divorce their home was sold. Recently they have been able to obtain low-income housing.

I was excited to learn there is treatment and hope for improvement for those who suffer with these debilitating and painful illnesses. Without insurance and a lack of adequate income that treatment is out of her reach.

Kathy TrumanLetter from Kathy Truman- Jeannie’s friend, and Life Coach

Jeannie Smedley is a dear friend and client of mine. I have witnessed her health deteriorating immensely from the Lyme Disease in addition to her other health issues. She has gone from being able to walk around and take care of herself to being unable to walk without assistance. Jeannie has done all in her power to be independent and self-sufficient, but now it is physically impossible for her. If anyone is worthy of receiving assistance, it is Jeannie Smedley.

The following are portions from a letter that Martha Bray, a health practitioner at the Farmington Health Clinic wrote for Jeannie:

August 24, 2015 – Medical Intervention is Critical!

RE: Jeannie Smedley

To Whom It May Concern:

I first saw Jeannie as a patient on 4/23/15.  Jeannie  has been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Hashimotos, Cachexia, Sleep disorder and possible Lyme’s disease. It is obvious that the stress she has been under-physical, mental and emotional has had a huge negative influence on her health.   Her body is wasting away and will not be able sustain itself much longer without immediate changes…..

…….I have recommended a variety of interventions, which I feel have therapeutic value and are used in the treatment of the above disorders….

  • EAV test in and balancing of acupuncture meridians through supplementation and homeopathic remedies (see list below).
  • Allergy/Sensitivity Treatments (NAET).
  • Testing-including the monitoring of body composition and overall cell-wall health (Bio Impedance Analysis) as well as monitoring of autonomic nervous system function and overall performance of parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems (Heart Rate Variability).
  • IV’s including MAH_UBI (treatment of blood with ozone and use of ultraviolet light to weaken pathogens in the blood), High dose Vitamin C, Amino Acids as well as various other vitamin/mineral rich IV bags.
  • Emotional support/release techniques including Mindfit (guided meditation to aid in reprogramming subconscious mind).

Sincerely,
